Aura WK 200 – Belgian Melting and Working Kettle Designed by Betec

The Aura WK 200 was developed as an affordable melting and working kettle that retains Betec’s technical know-how and reliability. In other words, a true Belgian chocolate machine.

Smart Design – Belgian Quality

The frame is specifically designed for this chocolate melting tank and is built from robust, bolted plates and profiles. Thanks to this smart design, the construction remains stable and reliable, while welding and grinding work is kept to a minimum — positively impacting production costs without compromising quality.

Thanks to its lower weight, the kettle is easy to move, with four swivel castors ensuring smooth positioning and flexible use within the workshop.

Because of this design, the Aura WK 200 is also particularly well suited for pilot projects, laboratory applications, or productions that do not take place on a daily basis. In such situations, flexibility is often more important than full customisation, and the WK 200 delivers exactly that agility without sacrificing reliability.

User-Friendly Chocolate Melting Tank with Easy Access

The side panels of the Aura WK 200 function as doors, allowing quick and easy access to the machine for maintenance, service, or cleaning.
All motors and the integrated Betec GP 200 chocolate pump are neatly built into the frame – hygienic and safe.

Electric Heating with Fast Response Time

Thanks to the use of a single-wall tank with electric heating, the kettle heats up exceptionally quickly, allowing you to start working almost immediately.
This configuration is ideal for melting and keeping chocolate warm, making the Aura WK 200 an excellent working tank.

For intensive melting processes — where large quantities of chocolate need to be melted in a short period of time — the models from the Betec MK series with water-heated kettles remain the better choice within our premium range.

Smart Agitator with Standard Motor – Optimal Mixing and Easy Maintenance

The robust agitator with bottom and side scrapers, also used in our Betec MK premium range, has been retained for this Aura melting and working kettle. These agitators have proven their efficiency over many years, ensuring optimal mixing of chocolate and any added ingredients.

The drive is powered by a standard motor — a deliberate choice to keep costs under control and guarantee the availability of spare parts.
Reliable, low-maintenance, and easy to replace if required.

Intuitive Touchscreen Control with Multifunction Push Button

Operation of the Aura WK 200 is handled via a clear touchscreen, identical to that of our Betec premium range.
The control panel with main switch, emergency stop, and multifunction push button is strategically positioned at the top and can be mounted in four different ways: on the left or right side of the kettle, and with the screen facing either the front or the rear.

This ensures that the chocolate melting tank remains ergonomic and user-friendly in every configuration.

The multifunction push button allows simple commands to be executed without touching the touchscreen — particularly convenient when hands are covered with chocolate.
For example, you can set how many seconds the chocolate pump runs to fill a container: one press of the button is sufficient, after which the pump stops automatically.
If you need to stop the pump earlier for any reason, a second press immediately switches it off.

This allows you to drain chocolate effortlessly while focusing on other production tasks.

In addition to standard functions, the Aura WK 200 is equipped with a pre-installed connector for a level sensor, enabling easy setup of automatic refilling to another machine. Furthermore, a solid-state output is provided to directly control an external dosing head, pipe heating, or valve via the kettle. This allows the WK 200 to be seamlessly integrated into existing or future chocolate production setups.

Integrated Chocolate Pump with Heated Flexible Hose

In addition to its intuitive control, the Aura WK 200 is equipped with an integrated Betec GP 200 chocolate pump and an electrically heated flexible hose.
This combination makes it possible to pump chocolate easily to other machines, or to recirculate chocolate inside the kettle for a homogeneous result.

Continuous circulation promotes the melting of chocolate and allows flavour additions to be mixed efficiently – ideal for batch-specific productions or for creating unique chocolate recipes.
In this way, the Aura WK 200 not only offers ease of use, but also the versatility of a true working tank for artisanal and semi-industrial applications.

Transparent Lid and Hygienic Design

The kettle is closed at the top with a stainless steel plate, on which two light plexiglass lids are mounted.
This allows you to monitor the melting process perfectly without opening the lids.

The lids can be mounted in two different ways:

• one at the front and rear, or
• one on the left and right side of the kettle.

As a result, the WK 200 adapts effortlessly to the available space or working direction in your workshop.
All components in the lower part of the frame are shielded behind the side doors, giving the machine a clean, safe, and hygienic appearance.
